The Bhutan InfoComm and Media Authority and the Construction Development Corporation Limited signed the Contract to initiate the construction of two movie theatres in Bajo, Wangdue Phodrang, and Samdrup Jongkhar Thromde, today. The signing of the Agreement commences Phase 1 of the Project where the planning, detailed designing and cost estimation will be carried out which will be followed by Phase 2 of the Project, which is the actual construction of the movie theatres.
The construction is being funded by the government from the Economic Stimulus Plan.
