The Bhutan InfoComm and Media Authority (BICMA) with the funding from Government Technology Agency (GovTech) has developed an app to crowdsource the Mobile Broadband Quality of Services (QoS) measurement, in particular the Mobile Broadband throughput (speed). The app is called the “Druk Speed Test” app and is a free app which can be used by all citizens of Bhutan. Currently it is in the testing phase and the BICMA would like to seek feedback from the public on any issues using the app. The feedback can be reached to us at spectrum@bicma.bt
At the moment it is available only for the Android Phone users and can be downloaded from the link below or can be searched in playstore with the above name. The same app will be made available for iOS mobile users soon.
