With great determination and energy, the team from Bhutan InfoComm and Media Authority has closed out the awareness program at Wangdue Phodrang dzongkhag today on 15th June 2023.
The initiative was mainly to deliver the Mandates, Functions, Services and Activities of BICMA while focusing more on digitization of Cable Television Services and its importance. Moreover, the team also presented on the other mandates and functions of the Authority such as licensing procedures for different types of service, Online Licensing System, Content Regulation, Journalist accreditation and Monitoring carried out by the Authority to monitor network QoS and cellular tower’s EMF radiation.
The Authority would like to thank the Dasho Dzongdag of Wangdue Phodrang Dzongkhag for his presence and valuable advice. Likewise, we would also like to thank the Dzongkhag Administration led by ICT officer, Local Leaders, Thromde Thuemi and Cable Operators for their presence, cooperation and support.
